This sounds strangely interesting and appealing to me from concept alone, not sure why. KBS is prepping a latter half of 2020 K-drama called Zombie Detective and it’s exactly as the title suggests, a zombie who works as a detective. Choi Jin Hyuk will play the titular zombie-detective, a zombie who hides from humans in the mountains and learns this language and behavior to masquerade as one. He gets a new identity when he finds a corpse and takes the ID to become a detective. Rising young actress Park Joo Hyun plays a former television reporter who quits the industry after a witness gets attacked during an investigation and ends up working for the zombie detective solving crimes. The zombie himself is trying to find out his former human identity hence all the detectiv-ing. Sounds smart to me, he’s clearly a very unique zombie and one that doesn’t decompose either hahaha.
