EXO-SC (EXO’s Sehun and Chanyeol) is dominating iTunes charts around the globe with their new album “1 Billion Views“!
After “1 Billion Views” was released on July 13, the album went on to top the iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 50 countries including Canada, France, Sweden, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
In addition to placing No. 1 on daily physical album charts on Hanteo Chart, Synnara Record, and YES24, “1 Billion Views” took the No. 1 spot on the digital album sales charts on China’s QQ Music and Kugou Music. “1 Billion Views” achieved sales of over 1 million yuan (approximately $143,000) in just one hour and 25 minutes after the album’s release, making it the fastest album released by a Korean artist this year to be certified as a “platinum album,” a title given to albums that record sales of over 1 million yuan.
