ITZY hopes to welcome fans soon in Korea once the health situation improves!
This year, South Korean girl group ITZY will be representing the Korea Tourism Organization as its newest ambassador.
Just recently, the Korea Tourism Organization, a group under the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, announced the quintet is their latest partner to boost the country’s tourism industry.
On July 9, the organization shared a promotional video for its latest campaign “Our Hearts are Always Open” featuring ITZY.
In the 43-second clip, the organization said, “We’re not just opening doors; we’re opening our hearts waiting for a safe and healthy world. We keep our hearts open. As any other day, you are in our thoughts.” Near the end, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna sweetly invites fans to come and visit Korea once the health situation improves by saying, “See you soon!”
Previously, the Korea Tourism Organization has collaborated with top Korean celebrities. In the past five years, the group partnered with BIGBANG, EXO, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, Lee Min Ho, Lee Jong Suk, and Song Joong Ki.
Meanwhile, in related news, JYP Entertainment has confirmed that ITZY will be making their much-anticipated comeback this summer. Fans should watch out as the girl group will surely treat them with new songs to fall in love with!
