The sense of leadership of Taeyong is really a perfect fit for NCT 127!
Taeyong of South Korean boy group NCT 127 has recently participated in an interview with News1 and talked about his role as a leader.
Asked on how he became the leader of NCT 127, Taeyong said, “I didn’t know that I would be chosen as the leader, it just happened naturally. When I was a trainee, the company said that I seemed to be full of passion and enthusiasm.”
The charismatic idol then shared the weight and responsibilities of having to lead a talented and diversified team. “With every stage, there are differences in camera work, formations, and someone needs to organize all of that between the members and the staff. When the members tell me their thoughts and opinions, I go to the staff to relay our position,” he revealed.
Noting that every member contribute for the team’s overall success, Taeyong then bared, “We all have a strong passion for growth and recognition, so every member does their role.” He also named Doyoung, Mark, and Taeil as the members who help him out the most.
Sharing his ultimate goal for NCT 127, the loving leader said, “I would like for every single member to be acknowledged for our talents, to the point that each member can have solo careers. I think that would mark the point that we become the most talented team. Our dream is to also become recognized artists, following in the footsteps of our SM Entertainment sunbaes.”
